許曉薇
出生於馬來西亞，現居、創作臺灣臺北。
國立台灣大學分子醫學研究所博士，目前於國立台灣大學附設醫院任職博士後研究員並從事分子醫學相關研究。同時投入攝影、錄像藝術創作，透過影像結合專業背景、實驗作為藝術實踐的方法。
許曉薇的創作手法類似於操作實驗，以一人之力結合當代攝影及錄像 ，在設定好的條件下檢視某種可能假設，加入變項、情境與對照，在時間積累的復返過程中觀察測量自身與社會交融的結果。最終如同研究結果般，拆解、理解及提問既定的社會框架與現象的構成。

Dr. HEE SIOW-WEY
Born in Malaysia, currently residing and creating art in Taipei, Taiwan.
A Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Molecular Medicine at National Taiwan University, she currently works as a postdoctoral researcher at the affiliated hospital of National Taiwan University, engaging in molecular medical research. Simultaneously, she is involved in photographic and video art, employing imagery combined with her professional background and experimental approaches as a method of artistic practice.
Her artistic approach resembles conducting experiments. With an individual effort, she combines contemporary photography, examines certain hypotheses under predefined conditions, introduces variables, situations, and controls. Through the iterative process of accumulation over time, she observes and measures the results of the interaction between herself and society. Ultimately, similar to research findings, her work deconstructs, understands, and questions the established social frameworks and phenomena.
